Please allow us to introduce ourselves. We are Bud & Jane Smith and we are Wedding Professionals. Jane has been helping me with our business for the past 18 years and has an artistic eye for new shots. We both shoot photography at your wedding. Jane shoots candids and I shoot the more posed photos. This gives us the ability to provide greater coverage of your special day.

Education

• Trained as a professional photographer and filmmaker at United States Army Signal School, Fort Monmouth, New Jersey
• Graduated Brooks Institute of Photography, Santa Barbara, California, earning a Bachelors Degree

• Since the age of 17, worked in portrait and commercial studios
• Photo lab tech for Lynn Caulfield Photographers (Louisville)
• Wedding photographer and portrait lab tech at Ball Studio (Goldsboro, NC)
• Combat and combat support photography and film for US Army (Vietnam and Germany)
• Photography and photo lab work at Photography, Assoc. (Louisville)
• Brochure, advertising photography, and industrial films at Price Weber (Louisville)
• Taught 2 Year Associate Photography Degree Program, for a total of 5 years, at Ivy Tech (Sellersburg, IN)
• Owned and Operated Photographic Techniques, Inc. for 3 years (Sold business)
• Photography and set up automated photo lab at Paul Schultz Catalogs (Louisville)
• Media Services Director providing photography and video documentation of surgeries for Louisville Hand Surgery (Louisville)

Since 1986, I have owned and operated Bud Smith Photography. I do commercial photography, commercial video and wedding photography. I have a spacious studio and office with samples of weddings and editing equipment for video. Currently member of:
